About Us
We’re building the technology layer for how people buy glasses online — starting in MENA, built for anywhere.
Why ARLens exists
Buying glasses online is broken. Most shoppers won’t complete a purchase blind — they need to see how a frame actually looks on their own face first. That hesitation ends one of two ways: they order anyway and return it, or they give up and go find a physical store instead. Either way, the seller loses the sale.
Two sellers, one gap
Online eyewear stores already selling through a website lose sales to that same hesitation — every return, every abandoned cart, is a customer who wasn’t sure. Then there’s a much bigger group almost nobody serves: small and independent optical shops across MENA who run entirely on Instagram and Facebook. No website, no cart, no way to try before you buy — just photos, DMs, and a price negotiated in chat. Every existing virtual try-on option on the market requires a website to embed into, which quietly excludes this entire segment.
What we’re building
ARLens.co solves both with one platform. The AR Widget is a single script tag that adds real-time try-on to any existing website, so a customer sees a frame on their own face before they buy. The Hosted Storefront gives sellers with no website of their own a full professional catalog with the same try-on built in, plus a WhatsApp order button — so an Instagram bio link finally leads somewhere real.
Where we are
We’re early. Right now we’re focused on getting the core try-on technology right — real-time face tracking and 3D rendering that actually works, on real devices — before we build everything else around it. See it running for yourself.
The name is simple on purpose: AR + lens. Built to work in any language, for any eyewear seller, anywhere.
